South Australian businesses recently came together for Green Industries SA's Circular Economy Tools for Business Workshop, sharing ideas and practical insights into the support needed to help businesses become more circular.

The workshop brought together businesses from a range of sectors to discuss what would help them identify opportunities, build the business case for action, and implement circular economy initiatives. Conversations explored everything from practical tools and templates to case studies, communications, events and opportunities to collaborate with other businesses.

A consistent theme throughout the day was the importance of practical, business-focused support. Participants highlighted the value of resources that help businesses understand where opportunities exist, what benefits they could deliver, and how to take the next step with confidence.

The discussions will help inform the ongoing development of Green Industries SA's Business Support Program, ensuring future tools, resources and activities reflect the needs of South Australian businesses.

The workshop was facilitated by Monash University through the Sustainable Communities and Waste, National Environmental Science Program.

Businesses interested in future workshops, events and engagement opportunities are encouraged to register for future updates.
